Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) Presents How to Develop an Export 
         Management and Compliance Program Seminar, July 21 - 22 in Austin, TX
**********************************************************************
 On July 21st and 22nd, the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of 
         Industry and Security and the International Business Institute of the 
         Austin Community College will host speakers from the Bureau of Industry 
         and Security, the Census Bureau, the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign 
         Assets Control, and the State Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls.
 The seminar will focus on industry best practices of effective export 
         management and compliance programs. It is designed for companies whose 
         products are subject to U.S. export controls. The objective is to help 
         companies efficiently manage their export compliance requirements by 
         implementing strategies and safeguards that can minimize the risk of an 
         export violations.
 Participants for this seminar should have a working knowledge of U.S. 
         export regulations. This is not a regulatory seminar. The seminar is for 
         exporters and forwarders who are ready to utilize their knowledge of 
         export regulations to build an effective compliance program that addresses 
         their export compliance responsibilities.

         Time - 8:00a.m. - 5:30p.m.
         Where - AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center
         Fee - $375.00 per person if registered by June 24th,
