NEUGEBAUER ANNOUNCES 2012 CONGRESSIONAL ART COMPETITION WINNER

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representative Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) announced the winner of the 2012 Congressional Art Competition winner for the 19th District of Texas:

“I am happy to announce that Miss Beckie Schneller, a senior at Abilene High School, has won this year’s Congressional Art Competition for the 19th District of Texas. Her winning oil painting, entitled ‘So Small,’ clearly shows Beckie’s talent, and is representative of the kind of aptitude that exists in every part of our district. I always enjoy seeing it first-hand.

“Beckie’s painting will hang in the Cannon Tunnel for visitors from around the United States and the world to view as they walk toward the Capitol. I want to thank each student who submitted artwork, and I look forward to watching them continue to showcase their artistic talents in the future.”
