American Savings and Education Council (ASEC)  The ASEC is a nonprofit, national coalition of public and private sector institutions that share a mission to raise public awareness about the necessary steps to successfully ensure long-term personal financial independence. The ASEC website provides information, tools, and numerous calculators to assist consumers in planning their financial futures.

Better Business Bureau (BBB) Military Line The BBB Military Line is designed to support service members, retirees, DoD civilians, and their families by providing information to protect them from unscrupulous business practices.

Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) The DCUC is an organization of credit unions whose membership consists wholly or in part of personnel of the U.S. Department of Defense, both military and civilian. The Council's total membership consist of over 250 credit unions serving the DoD establishment worldwide. All are insured by either the National Credit Union Administration (the federal regulator), or an independent or state agency which meets federal standards.

Federal Reserve Board  This website provides consumer oriented information on bank accounts and services, consumer credit, identity theft, leasing, mortgages, and basic personal finances. 

Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Bureau of Consumer Protection The Bureau of Consumer Protection strives to protect consumers against unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent practices through investigations and legal action. The consumer information portion of the FTC website provides planning information on a variety of financial topics as well as materials to help consumers identify fraud and identity theft.

Financial Literacy and Education Commission  This Department of Treasury website provides information on personal finances topics (e.g., budgeting, taxes, home ownership, and retirement planning) and financial calculators.

Jump$tart Coalition for Financial Literacy  The Jump$tart Coalition provides a clearinghouse of resources to support the financial education of youth and young adults.

MilitaryINSTALLATIONS  is a searchable directory of worldwide installation and state-related military information, programs, and services. It provides easy access to fast facts, articles, website resource directories, photos, contact information, major units, weather, and maps. With this resource, users can quickly find relevant information about any installation or military resources in their state. Contact information for installation Personal Financial Management offices can be found under the program/service titled "Financial Assistance".

Military Money  Developed as part of DoD's Financial Readiness Campaign, Military Money provides service members and their families with an authoritative resource for financial information. The website spans financial topics such as money management, home and family life for military families, education and career advice, deployment and relocation, and transition from the military to the civilian world.

Military Saves  Sponsored by DoD with the Consumer Federation of America, the Military Saves Campaign provides service members with the necessary tools to develop and maintain a savings plan.  It is a free service designed to assist service members in reaching their financial goals, reducing and eliminating debt, and learning more about wealth-building and savings.

Military Consumer Sentinel This is joint initiative of the FTC and the Department of Defense (DoD) designed to help improve consumer protection for service members, their families, and DoD civilians.  The Consumer Sentinel website allows service members, DoD civilians, and their families to file consumer complaints that are used by over 500 law enforcement organizations to target cases for prosecution and other enforcement measures.
