Neugebauer Condemns Killings in Libya

WASHINGTON, DC –Congressman Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) released the following statement condemning the attacks on an American consulate in Libya that led to the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was the first American Ambassador to be killed in the line of duty since 1979.

“I am outraged by the murder of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three U.S. diplomatic employees in Benghazi, Libya.  I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers to the families affected by this tragedy.  As we condemn this attack on our fellow Americans, our sovereignty, and our values, I call on the President to make every effort to increase security at our embassies and consulates so as to protect Americans serving abroad.”
