National Contract Management Association Issues Standards of Conduct Open Letter to Government Employees

Tags: Contracting

The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) issued an open letter to government employees on September 14, 2010 regarding standards of conduct guidelines for their involvement with NCMA activities. This letter follows the NCMA's correspondence with both the Office of Government Ethics and the DoD Director of Standards of Conduct Office (SOCO) asking for clarification of standards of conduct guidelines. For your information and consideration a copy of the letter has been posted on the Acquisition Community Connection at NCMA Open Letter. DoD employees are encouraged by the NCMA to seek local legal advice regarding any unique circumstances or for individual guidance in applying these guidelines.
