Department of Treasury - Updated

Version 1.1 of the Department of Treasury’s Open Government Plan shows a sincere effort to obviate the most glaring deficiencies in the original submission, with emphasis on adherence to the FOIA mandate, offer a clearer and more robust on line presence for purposes of information, feedback collection and collaboration, etc. The revised plan, however, still addresses many of the components in anecdotal or elementary form, without providing a systemic approach to full openness and transparency. The seven point increase (48 from 41) between the two version is however an encouraging sign of progress, that will hopefully continue during implementation.
