Become a Teacher

 

IMPORT VIA XML Feed

This option automatically updates your job postings with any changes you make on your end. XML feeds will be crawled each night to identify new, updated or deleted job posting. No worrying about inaccurate information on TEACH.gov.

STEP 1

Create an XML feed from your job posting website. Each one of the jobs will require the following:

XML Nodes
id A unique identifier in the id field
title A job title
level Grade Level for the position
category Category of the position
zip Zip Code of where the position is located
url URL where more information can be found about the job

You must use the short form abbreviation for the category and level fields in your XML feed. The tables below show the appropriate values for each Category or Level.

Category
CTE = Career/Technical Education ECE = Early Childhood/Elementary
ENG = English GFT = Gifted
FLG = Foreign Languages MAT = Mathematics
MUS = Music PED = Physical Education
SCI  = Science SSS = Social Studies
SED = Special Education TCH = Technology
AP  = Art and Performance SB  = Substitute
OT  = Uncategorized/Other  
Level
PH = Pre-K through 12 EE = Early Childhood/Elementary
MS = Middle School HS = High School
PK, KG or 01-12 = Specific grade level
