Soldier's Angels
We offer several free areas of support for the military. As a volunteer led 501(c)(3)non-profit organization, Soldier's Angels has hundreds of thousands of volunteers providing aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, veterans and their families.
Chaplain Support Team - The Chaplains Support Team (CST) provides direct support to the military chaplains as they bring comfort and assistance to the soldiers they serve. The chaplains perform most of their duties in a non-denominational capacity, and it is these non-denominational activities that the CST supports. We supply Chaplains with requested items related to their mission, and requested numbers of hand-out letters and gifts that can be easily distributed to those needing assistance whom Soldiers' Angels may not otherwise be able to locate and support. Items shipped can include everything from non-denominational chapel supplies to delicious food items for special group meals, cards for the deployed to send to family members for holidays and birthdays, and things like games, sports equipment, or books for recreation.
Hero Adoption - Signing up to adopt a Soldier, Sailor, Airmen or Marine or Coast Guardsman (they deploy, too!) is simple and takes only a few minutes. It is a commitment to send at least a letter each week and a care package each month throughout the service member's deployment.
Ladies of Liberty - The Ladies of Liberty team of Soldiers' Angels focuses on the needs of deployed female service members. We understand that females are instrumental in the current war (as in the past), and make special efforts to support them in their missions while showcasing our appreciation for their service. We assist with supplies for their unique health and hygiene needs, and help them experience a few pampering moments to rejuvenate and "be good to themselves." |

Ranger Rosary Ministry http://www.rangerrosary.com The rugged combat rosaries are to be sent to our servicemen and women serving throughout the world. The rosaries are distributed by chaplains, especially those deployed in combat zones, those at stateside training bases, the Navy fleet and military hospitals.
Our goals are to spread the message, generate interest and have others begin groups to make rosaries and send to our troops. We will provide a sample kit to make rosaries.
Ranger Rosaries can be ordered by email or by phone as follows:
|
1. State how many rosaries you want (not just "some" or "as many as you can spare," etc.) and list your color preferences:
Black and Green - Ranger Brown and Tan - Desert Camouflage Blue and Gray - Navy/Air Force Black and Tan-generic military
2. Specify a mailing address (APO if abroad, because it's prohibitively expensive to ship otherwise). Email addresses are also very useful.
3. Julie Walton is the Point of Contact "for chaplain orders:"
4. The address is:
Church of the Resurrection ATTN: Julie Walton 3612 Joycin Ct. Ellicott City, MD 21042
5. Email Julie Walton at juliehwalton@comcast.net for further information or call at (410) 990-4100 ext. 4129. |
