Are you a volunteer at a USO center? Seen a USO show overseas? Received an Operation USO Care Package? Has the USO touched your life in some way? Whatever your USO experience, please tell it!

If you have a USO story you'd like to share, please submit it to the USO below. Your story could be featured on our Website! Please keep your submissions brief (200 or so words), personal and, of course, your story must be 100% true.

"YOUR USO STORY" GRANT OF RIGHTS AND RELEASE AGREEMENT

1. In consideration for the opportunity to participate in the "Your USO Story" Program ("The Program"), I, being over the age of 18, hereby grant to the United Service Organizations, Inc., ("USO")  the right to use  the stories, and the illustrations,  photographs and video (collectively "images"), and any other materials submitted hereunder, as well as my name, voice, likeness, and appearance therein, together with the personally identifying information I may provide on the connection therewith (collectively "Submission"), as further described below.

2. I further grant the USO, the right to edit my stories, images and  Submission in any manner, and to use and license others to use the same, or any portions, reproductions, derivations, or versions thereof in any and all media, now known or hereafter invented (including, without limitation, radio, television, home video/DVD, merchandising, online internet and mobile services), in any manner, an unlimited number of times, in perpetuity, throughout the world, with or without charge or cost to end users or other third parties. I also grant USO the right to use and license others to use my stories, images and Submission for promotion, publicity and/or marketing of USO or in any other manner as determined by USO in its sole discretion.

3. I represent and warrant that my stories, images and  Submission are true and my original work and that I have secured any and all rights, releases and permissions necessary for USO to use  the stories, images and  Submission in the manner described in paragraph 3 of this Agreement, including without limitation those related to any people, places, music, performances of dance or music, video, photographs, graphics and/or other elements in my stories, images and Submission I represent and warrant that no further permissions or fees are due for USO's use of my stories, images and  Submission or any elements therein. I further represent and warrant that any statements made by me or others in the Story, Photo and/or Video Submission are true to the best of my knowledge and that neither they, nor any Element of my, stories, images and  Submission will violate any law or regulation or violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party.

4. I hereby waive any right of inspection or approval of my stories, images and Submission as used by USO, including without limitation any approval of my appearance and/or use of my name therewith or the uses to which they may be put.

5. I acknowledge that USO will rely on this Release, potentially at substantial cost to it, and I hereby waive the right to assert any claim of any nature whatsoever against any party relating to the exercise of the rights and permissions granted hereunder. I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the USO from any and all claims arising from its use of my stories, images and Submission.
