In an effort to reduce excess IT (Information Technology) equipment in the Des Moines Field Office, a number of printers and computers were deemed unnecessary. They were ultimately donated to local schools. Denise Cernik of the Office of Human Capital Field Support traveled from the Omaha office to assist with the donations. Ankeny Christian Academy received two laptops, a desktop, and three monitors. Mayra Witherly, a representative from Iowa Christian Academy, picked up three laptops, three monitors, and three printers for her school.
