In a continuing effort to reach out to a wide range of constituencies, several staff members of the Des Moines Field Office volunteered to represent HUD at the annual Latino Heritage Festival of Des Moines. Over the two-day event, staff informed the public about HUD’s programs and distributed useful information to assist customers across a wide range of programs. The Des Moines Field Office was one of 66 vendors at the festival. The total number of attendees to the festival was estimated at 8,000 attendees.
