Still Media Fee Schedule
Non-DoD requesters are charged a $20.00 nonrefundable Initial Project Fee to establish a project. The fee covers basic administrative costs.
Additional research time is charged at a rate of $20.00 per hour and is billed in 15-minute increments.
Inside the United States, checks or money orders must be payable to the "U. S. Treasury" and drawn on a U.S. bank. Additional words beyond "U.S. Treasury" on the "payable to" line, will cause your order to be delayed.
Customers in foreign countries can only submit a check drawn on a U.S. bank or send an International Money Order to:

Motion Media Fee Schedule
Non-DoD requesters are charged a $100.00 nonrefundable Initial Project Fee to establish a project. This fee includes up to 2 hours of research time.
Additional research time is charged at a rate of $43.00 per hour and is billed in 15-minute increments. If the initial research does not exceed 2 hours, the remaining fee will be used toward any additional service or duplication charges.
Imagery records are continuously being updated with new materials as old records are forwarded to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). In some instances, records that appear to reside with us may have been shipped to the NARA. To ensure requested materials are available, ask the senior researcher to determine availability before sending in your Initial Project Fee.

Please do not prepay orders with the exception of the $100 Initial Project Fee. You will be invoiced for any additional costs associated with your order.
For a priority request, a 25 percent surcharge will be added to your final bill.
Motion Transfer Material
Video tape-to-tape, tape to CD-DVD or scene selection transfer cost is $6.75 per minute with a one minute minimum.
Digital motion imagery to DVD scene selection transfer cost is $6.75 per minute with a one minute minimum.
The cost of tapes will be in addition to transfer cost for Betacam SP, DVCPro, or DVD (digital file format)per the fee schedule below.
Priority premium is an additional 25 percent of the project cost, excluding handling and shipping.

Note: We no longer offer digital prints of our still imagery. DoD customers should download high resolution files and order prints via the Document Automation & Production Service (DAPS). DoD customers can get more information on DAPS by clicking here. Other, non-DoD customers should download the high resolution files and contact your local printing facility to have prints made.
Shipping and Handling
Normal shipping for commercial customers of motion materials is $10.50 unless otherwise specified. Normal shipping for commercial customers of still imagery is $7.50 unless otherwise specified.
If Federal Express is preferred, please provide your FEDEX account number.
Refund Policy
We make every attempt to properly interpret your request. However, there are times when we must use our judgment in selecting available photography.
Much of our imagery has been taken in remote parts of the world, and has been subjected to elements that contribute to their deterioration. Repeated high usage and the passage of time preclude a guarantee of quality. Therefore we will not issue a refund if the imagery is technically correct to the limits of the source material. The customer will be notified if the original materials are of sub-standard quality.
