NEW! RESERVIST RETIREMENT SEMINAR, Saturday, 27 October 2012

The California Army National Guard, in joint partnership with United States Army Reserve’s 91st Training Support Division, will host a Reservist (M-Day) Pre-Retirement Seminar on Saturday, 27 October 2012 at Camp San Luis Obispo (CSLO), Building 900, Perlee Theater.

The Retirement Seminar will answer Soldiers' questions on the reserve retirement process and benefits. Presenters from Military Service Centers will provide information that will help Soldiers read their retirement points, apply for retired pay, and understand the Reserve Component Survivor Benefit Program (RCSBP).  Representatives from Veterans Affairs and various Military Transition Organizations will cover numerous topics such as Retiree ID cards/DEERS, TriCare medical and dental programs, and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) services (to include education and disability information).

Who should attend….

Soldiers with 18 or more years of qualifying service towards non-regular retirement.

Soldiers considering retirement within the next 12 months.
