You can register to vote at your Circuit Clerk’s office, your Municipal Clerk’s office, when you get your driver’s license at the Department of Public Safety, or through the mail by downloading a voter registration form from our website and mailing it to your Circuit Clerk.

Note: first time, mail-in, unverified registrants must show ID the first time they go to the polls.

Do you have a Mississippi Driver’s License?

To be eligible to register to vote in Mississippi a person must be:

• A citizen of the United States.
• A resident of Mississippi and the election district in which you want to register and vote for at least 30 days before the next election.
• At least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next election.
• Never been convicted of a felony or have had rights restored
• Not been declared mentally incompetent by a court.
