Mission:

The Advanced Technology Demonstration Team's mission is to demonstrate the viability of new technology in military applications to aid in the protection of the Warfighter and U.S. interests in detection, decontamination, and against CBRN agents with emphasis on customer satisfaction, user involvement, and transition to a CBD Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) program of record.

ATD Overview:

The ATD Team will be the service provider of choice in the area of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) advanced technology demonstrations, which includes the DTRA Joint Science and Technology Office (JSTO), the Office of the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Advanced Systems and Concepts (DUSD (AS&C)) and the Robotics Systems Joint Program Office (RSJPO).   Presently, the ATD Team is managing four ATD Programs for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency: the Automated, Detailed Equipment Decontamination for Land Vehicles (Auto Decon); Hazard Mitigation, Material and Equipment Restoration (HaMMER); Military Applications in Reconnaissance/Surveillance for Joint Force Protection (MARS JFP); and the Rapid Area Sensitive-site Reconnaissance (RASR) ATDS.   Each of these programs are designed to provide the Warfighters state-of-the-art technology in the near future.
