About the Presenters

Jeremy Vanderlan serves as the Technical Lead and Content Management System expert for the AIDS.gov website sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). He is the resident expert on mobile platform development and has represented AIDS.gov at high-visibility events and technical conferences, including the mHealth Summit hosted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the New York Social Media Conference, and Mobile Health 2011. Jeremy gives presentations on the technical framework for mobile development on AIDS.gov.

Joe Barber is the Chief QR Officer of CodeZ QR, a division of COPI (Computer Output Print & Internet). Through both direct and reseller channels, COPI is a prime supplier of vendor independent 2D barcodes to the global high volume transaction output industry. With extensive credentials in management and finance, Joe works with Global 1000 marketing and IT executives to develop profitable, results-focused programs utilizing enterprise focused QR solution sets to enable 1to1 cross media dialogues. Joe’s practice focuses on the CodeZ QR Solution Set which is the only behind the firewall enterprise QR solution set capable of running on any computing platform, interfacing with any composition software, for output on any printer.

Dustin Haisler is currently the Director of Government Innovation for Spigit, Inc. Dustin is the former Assistant City Manager and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of Manor, Texas. While at the City of Manor, Dustin and his team innovated a number of solutions to increase efficiency and cut cost. Dustin’s innovative uses of technology have received international attention and won numerous awards. In 2009, Dustin was named by Government Technology as one of the 25 Doers, Dreamers & Drivers of Technology in the nation.
