FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU

Description: This program of study prepares individuals for the duties and responsibilities of a Facility Security Officer (FSO) in a contractor facility participating in the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The FSO Program Management for FSOs at possessing facilities (facilities with approval to store classified material) curriculum complies with the training requirements stated in paragraph 3-102 of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) (DoD 5220.22-M).
Registration: Simply register for the curriculum and you will automatically be registered for all courses and examinations within that curriculum. When you have successfully completed all courses within the curriculum, you will be able to print a curriculum certificate of completion. You may also print certificates of completion for each individual course you successfully complete within the curriculum.
CDSE recommends that students complete the courses to prepare for taking associated examinations, but if students know the subject matter they may go directly to an examination.

In addition to completing the courses in this curriculum, FSOs are encouraged to complete additional training including other courses offered by the CDSE and by other agencies and institutions.
Target Audience: Personnel who will serve as an FSO at a facility participating in the NISP should register for this course. The curriculum is also suitable for training other security professionals such as:

Requirements: Passing grade (75%) on all required course exams and completion of the FSO Role in the NISP IS021.06 course is required in order to print a curriculum certificate of successful completion.
