The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) is a health science university run by the Federal government, providing training to military physicians, nurses, and educators. Currently, you can attend the USU F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine as a Public Health Service officer through one of two agencies:
- National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases
- Department of Health and Human Services’ Indian Health Service
