The Aircraft Characteristics Database provides basic aircraft characteristics for common aircraft needed to perform airport design functions.

Status of Database

We are redesigning the Aircraft Characteristic Database and incorporating it into the Airport Design section of the FAA Airport-GIS System.

Access to Data

Until the new database is complete, aircraft characteristics data is available from the file below and from Appendix 1 of AC 150/5300-13A, Airport Design. Note: This data has not been fully verified. Please consult the manufacturer's technical specifications.
