Colonel R. Bruce Roehm is the 341st Medical Group commander, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. The medical group is comprised of the 341st Medical Operations Squadron and 341st Medical Support Squadron. The medical group has more than 200 military and civilian members, serving a beneficiary population of approximately 11,000.

Colonel Roehm entered active duty in October 1991 after receiving his direct commission as a second lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. He has served in many health care administration positions at clinic, hospital, medical center, and Pentagon levels as well as in deployed and OCONUS locations. He is a credentialed Fellow of the American Academy of Medical Administrators. He was assigned as the Chief Medical Programmer at HQ USAF/SG where he led planning and programming actions for the $32B Defense Health Program and $300M Air Force medical WRM/WMD ER programs. He was one of 50 captains chosen for the inaugural Air Force Intern Program in 1995 working for the Air Force Chief of Staff Group (CCX) and for the Air Force Operations Group, Readiness Division.
