Create Accounts in Business Objects

  1. Logon as the administrator.
  2. Navigate to Start, Programs, Business Objects, Supervisor 6.5.
  3. Type the username and password. The account must have supervisor rights.
  4. Select New and User.
  5. Type the user ID.
  6. Double-click on the new user and the User Properties windows.
  7. Select the Definition tab. In the Security section, type a password.
  8. Confirm the password.
  9. Select the Change Password At First Login button.
  10. Select the checkbox option for Password Validity.
  11. Set the password to expire in 90 days.
  12. Select the Groups and Profile tab.
  13. Verify that the user is assigned to the appropriate group. Click OK.
  14. Close the Supervisor Module.
