Confidentiality

Filing a Disclosure of Information (Form OSC-12) is a confidential process by law. 5 U.S.C. Section 1213(h). No information about your disclosure that would risk identifying you as the source of the information will be shared outside of OSC, without your prior consent. The law provides one exception -- if we determine that it is necessary because of an imminent danger to public health or safety or imminent violation of any criminal law, we may disclose your identity.
