News Media Arrangements for Attentive Driving Forum

March 23, 2012

WASHINGTON - The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will hold its Attentive Driving: Countermeasures for Distraction forum on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. The forum will be held in the NTSB Conference Center and Board Room at 429 L'Enfant Plaza SW in Washington, DC. The forum begins at 8:30 a.m., is open to the public, free of charge, and requires no advance registration.

Members of the news media should arrive early for set up to prevent disruptions once the forum begins. The Board Room will open for media beginning at 7:45 a.m. Riser space for video cameras is located in the front, far right area of the main auditorium. The room is lighted for television and a mult box is provided.

In addition to limited seating for media in the auditorium, desk space with electrical hook ups and an audio mult box are available in the media room.

The forum can also be viewed by webcast at www.ntsb.gov and webcast archives remain active for three months following the event. To report problems with the webcast, please call 703-993-3100 and ask for Webcast Technical Support.
