Tactical Cameras and Tracking Equipment

On this page find:

Tactical Cameras

Tactical cameras are small, versatile, cost-effective devices that can provide covert, real-time visual and audio surveillance. They can be mounted on guns, helmets, poles, or robots to accompany individuals or groups in the field. They can also be thrown, rolled, dropped or lowered into dangerous or hard-to-access spaces.

Tracking Equipment

Tracking equipment can help law enforcement locate and monitor on-foot personnel in real time to alert them to hidden threats and maximize situational awareness.

There are commercial products that purport to do this but NIJ has not funded any rigorous evaluations have been done to show their value in law enforcement operations.
