Creating Joint Medical Workstation Filters in MSAT
The JMeWS filter enables the aggregation of data collected from multiple facilities. A filter should consist of a group of active units that are the focus of the user's medical surveillance and situation reports. Theater, regional medical commands and combatant command surgeon cells should also create a JMeWS filter containing all subordinate units within the respective area of responsibility (AOR).
This filter provides visibility of the medical treatment activity and reporting of subordinates. A user may create numerous filters containing any number of medical assets registered within MSAT that have filed a JMeWS joining report.
A user may also use share filters and combine several filters into one. Filter creation and selection is essential to performing accurate medical surveillance of the AOR. For more information regarding the use of filters, contact an MC4 field service representative. The following steps provide details for creating a filter within the JMeWS tab of MSAT.
