H.R. 4251, (Mrs. Miller) To authorize, enhance, and reform certain port security programs through increased efficiency and risk-based coordination within the Department of Homeland Security, and for other purposes.
An Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute is expected to be offered by Mrs. Miller.

H.R. 3563, (Mr. Bilirakis) To authorize the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) to ensure the timely and effective distribution of alerts and warnings. The “Alert and Warning System Modernization Act of 2011.”
An Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute is expected to be offered by Mr. Bilirakis.
H.R. 2764, (Mr. Meehan) To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish weapons of mass destruction intelligence and information sharing functions of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis of the Department of Homeland Security and to require dissemination of information analyzed by the Department to entities with responsibilities relating to homeland security, and for other purposes. The “WMD Intelligence and Information Sharing Act of 2011.”
H.R. 3140, (Ms. Speier) To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to prioritize the assignment of officers and analysts to certain State and urban area fusion centers to enhance the security of mass transit systems. The “Mass Transit Intelligence Prioritization Act.”
H.R. 2179, (Mr. Miller, (R-FL)) to amend title 49, United States Code, to direct the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security (Transportation Security Administration) to transfer unclaimed money recovered at airport security checkpoints to United Service Organizations, Incorporated, and for other purposes.

"This hearing continues the Subcommittee's oversight of the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Health Affairs (OHA), and particularly the BioWatch Program and National Biosurveillance Integration Center. The President's Fiscal Year 2013 budget request provides a significant increase for the development and testing of BioWatch Gen-3. This Committee and the Office of Management and Budget have previously expressed concern about the management of this program, including the fact that a sufficient cost-benefit analysis has not been conducted. This hearing will provide Members with an opportunity to more closely examine this, and other, OHA programs to ensure our resources are leveraged to best enhance our security."
