SOUDA BAY, Greece (Feb. 9, 2012) - Sailors use firefighting techniques to avoid re-flash, during a firefighting training scenario aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Vella Gulf's (CG 72) flight deck while in port Souda Bay. Vella Gulf, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is conducting theater security cooperation and maritime security operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
