Vehicle Misuse and Reckless Driving

If you wish to report the misuses or reckless driving of a government vehicle, email howsmydriving@gsa.gov with the following information:

  • Date, time, and location of alleged misuse
  • Activity that is the cause of your concern
  • License Plate (GXX-XXXXX for GSA owned vehicles)
  • Your contact information (you may choose to remain anonymous)

Other helpful information includes:

  • Description of vehicle (color, vehicle type, make/model, etc)
  • Description of driver and passengers

The General Services Administration (GSA) is only responsible for those vehicles owned by GSA. The ownership of the vehicle is indicated on the vehicle license plate. If the license plate begins with a “G” then the vehicle is owned by GSA. If the license plate does not begin with a “G” then it is not owned by GSA. However, if you submit a report to howsmydriving@gsa.gov the report will be forwarded to the appropriate agency.
