National Medal Video: Brooklyn Museum

The Brooklyn Museum was one of ten winners of the 2011 National Medal for Museum and Library Service. In this video interview, Director Arnold Lehman and visual artist Virginia Ines Vergara talk about the museum’s apprentice program, a seminal experience in Virginia’s life.

Nominations for the 2013 National Medal for Museum and Library Service are due October 15, 2012. Anyone, including the staff and board of the museum or library, may submit the nomination.
