April 27, 2011 marks the 40th anniversary of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. To celebrate these 40 years of service in ensuring fairness in the pursuit of a safer and healthier workplace, the Review Commission today commences a year-long series of programs and activities that will both reflect on the history and accomplishments of the Review Commission as well as examine innovative methods to fulfill the Review Commission’s role of adjudicating disputes under the OSH Act.
In furtherance of the Review Commission’s commemoration, an anniversary committee has been established to generate and solicit ideas and to develop programs consistent with those ideas.
Suggestions from the Review Commission staff as well as our various stakeholder communities are welcome and should be directed by email to OSHRC40th@oshrc.gov. Please join the Anniversary Committee in making this celebration a success.
