The DOE Richland Operations Office and its contractors at the Hanford Site made tremendous progress in several key cleanup categories in 2009.

Photos of visit to Plutonium Finishing Plant
Officials, Hanford Site employees, the media, and visitors celebrated a major accomplishment at the Plutonium Finishing Plant. Recently, workers finished moving all plutonium and reactor fuel containing plutonium out of the plant. Visitors participated in a celebration and were given a tour of vaults where the plutonium was stored.
