GSA Missing Child Notice Program

The GSA Missing Child Notice Program website, maintained in the Heartland Region, was created to help raise awareness of the plight of missing children and to support an executive memorandum. It is a clearinghouse of information for federal agencies and it provides guidance on how to post missing child notices in buildings owned or controlled by the federal government. Ten notices are published each month and are available for download through the website.

GSA is assisted in this effort by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), found online at www.ncmec.org. Each month the NCMEC provides information, at the Heartland's request, regarding missing children and notifies the GSA whenever a featured missing child is located. The updates are then distributed to those that post the notices throughout the nation's Federal buildings.

Please assist in this important program, which may lead to the reunion of lost children with their families.

If you have any information which could be of help to the authorities please contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) immediately at their 24 Hour Hotline 1-800-THE-LOST® (1-800-843-5678).
