The FDIC holds occasional meetings with public and private sector stakeholders to discuss the implementation of specific parts of the Dodd-Frank Act.

Core and Brokered Deposit Study as Mandated by Section 1506 of the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act
A roundtable will be held on March 18th to discuss these issues and frame the study. The event will be Webcast live.

Seminars for Deposit Insurance Coverage for Noninterest-Bearing Transaction Accounts
Telephone conferences for bank directors regarding the new rule will be held on Tuesday, December 14th and Thursday, December 16th.

Roundtable Discussion of Alternatives to the use of Credit Ratings and Creditworthiness Standards
This roundtable, hosted the Federal Reserve Board of Governors on November 10, 2010 included discussions that considered alternatives to the use of credit ratings.

Forum for Discussion of the Dodd-Frank Resolution Plan The third roundtable will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2010 and will address the requirements and development of a Resolution Plan. Link to Webcast
