Australasian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ASTSS) 

The Australasian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ASTSS), an affiliate organization of ISTSS, provides an inclusive, effective, open forum for extending the understanding, prevention and treatment of major stress and trauma within the Australasian region. ASTSS publishes Stress Points, a quarterly ejournal aimed at reporting and examining current developments in research, theory, clinical practice, social policy and inquiry in the field of trauma and posttraumatic mental health.

ISTSS Mission Statement

ISTSS is an international, interdisciplinary professional organization that promotes advancement and exchange of knowledge about traumatic stress. This knowledge includes:

  • Understanding the scope and consequences of traumatic exposure
