Description: This course is an overview of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and a detailed explanation of its subsystem, the Joint Adjudication Management System (JAMS), which is used extensively by the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Adjudication Facilities (CAFs) to record eligibility determinations and command access decisions. The course includes demonstrations with knowledge checks and practical exercises. Participants complete tasks in a virtual JPAS environment and navigate various windows and practice specific actions to perform desired functions.

Target Audience: DoD civilian, military, and contractor personnel who perform adjudicative functions in support of the DoD Personnel Security Program.
