Description: This course introduces important Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) terms and processes as they relate to the Industrial Security Program and describes the foundational four major components of the FOCI process: identification, adjudication, mitigation, and inspection. The course also discusses the National Interest Determination and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), both of which address aspects of foreign ownership impact on U.S. interests.

Length: 2.5 hours

Target Audience: Defense Security Service, industry, and other government agency personnel who are involved in the FOCI process.
