Description: This course is an interactive Web-based course. The course provides an introduction to the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Security Program. The Introduction to Information Security course provides students with a basic understanding of the legal and regulatory basis for the program and how the program is implemented throughout DoD. After completing this course, the student will be familiar with the DoD Information Security Program.

Target Audience: DoD civilian and military personnel with little or no experience working with classified information

Requirements: A passing score of 75% on the final exam (IF011.06) allows students to print a certificate of successful completion.
