COLONEL LOURDES M. DUVALL

Colonel Lourdes M. Duvall is Vice Commander of the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. She assists in directing the worldwide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations of six ISR groups supporting nine numbered Air Force commanders and is responsible for more than 6,000 military, civilian and contractor personnel; total enterprise valued at more than $5 billion.

Col Duvall graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and was commissioned in May 1991. A career intelligence officer, her assignments include unit, wing, numbered air force, instructor, Air Staff and Joint Staff duties.  Col Duvall has served as Commander, 6th Intelligence Squadron, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. She has supported combat and humanitarian actions for Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, DELIBERATE FORGE, DENY FLIGHT, and DELIBERATE GUARD. Prior to her current assignment, Col Duvall was a Federal Executive Fellow at The Brookings Institution, 21st Century Defense Initiative, Washington DC.
