    Hoorah...lots of work being done in Vietnam this week! We have six recovery teams and two investigation teams in Vietnam searching for information on more than 65 Americans lost during the Vietnam War.

QUANG NAM, Vietnam (Aug. 9, 2012) – Two Veitnamese women observe a Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command recovery mission. Six recovery teams are excavating four separate aircraft crash sites and two ground losses in the Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, and Quang Nam provinces. The teams are searching for evidence of 12 Americans unaccounted-for from the Vietnam War at on-land sites. The approximately 30-day undertaking marks the 108th Joint Field Activity in Vietnam.
