While it has been a very dramatic time around the world; it has been relatively quiet in your Nation’s Capital, except for one dramatic piece of news. Sadly, U.S. military deaths reached 2000 in Afghanistan after 11 years of war. The first Presidential debate of this election was held on Wednesday in Denver and electrified the campaign. The new wild card games start today. And now for the big DC news (in case any of you missed it) - the Washington Nationals have the best record in baseball and won their division title after moving here just 7 years ago. For once this is one happy town.
