Updated March 26, 2012

*All dates are subject to change*

Now through May 2012 - Traffic patterns on M Street could change daily. Please be alert in the construction zone.

March 26-  Entry control moved to the new West Gate. Once the new base boundary is complete and Security Forces are comfortable with the new gate facility, the entry control will be moved. The old visitor center will remain active until the contractor is able to pave the new visitor center parking lot, sometime in April.

April 13- The West Gate traffic plan during demolition of the old West Gate and final work on M street will begin with closures on the following Fridays 13 April, 20 April, 27 April and 4 May. The closures will start Thursdays at 2000 hours through Monday morning at 0400. The Friday closures allow the contractor to work without traffic on three consecutive days each of these four weeks.

Originally traffic was going to be limited to one direction in the morning and evening. The contractor has indicated they are able to have four lanes (two each direction) open during Monday through Thursday. More information will be available as construction progresses.
tabFalcon Hill Current Status
The Enhanced Use Lease Program Management Office at Hill AFB is currently working with project stakeholders to continue planned construction for the initial development areas.

Sunset Ridge Development Partners estimates construction will be complete on the second commercial office building, which is located inside the base fence line, by spring 2013.

The new West Gate Security Forces facility and the ICBM commercial building ribbon cuttings were held early 2012 along with completion of infrastructure and utility lines.

SRDP will actively market and pursue potential leasing commitments while the government PMO works closely with the developer and Military Installation Development Authority to continually increase project success.
