Mission
Empower, unburden, and protect the Warfighter by providing superior armaments solutions
that dominate the battlefield.
Vision
Innovative Armaments Solutions for Today and Tomorrow.
From The Leader's Desk
Developing advanced weapons, ammunition and fire control systems for the U.S. Army
is vitally important. Our efforts simply must result in capabilities that make the
American warfighters the most well-equipped and technologically superior fighting
force in the world. Fortunately, our workforce of scientists, engineers and technical
support staff understands this important role. They work hard to maintain leadership
in their fields of study. They understand how critical it is to work with Soldiers
to understand their challenges, their combat environments and their concerns about
equipment. They understand that every taxpayer dollar that fuels their efforts is
precious. Furthermore they are committed to the ARDEC mission: To empower, unburden
and protect the warfighter by providing superior armaments solutions that dominate
the battlefield. In order to advance this mission we are always looking to academia
and industry to continue to challenge us with new ideas and innovation. We look
forward to developing productive relationships, and encourage you to reach out to
us to discuss your ideas and your concerns.
