Welcome to CSLA

Fort Huachuca, AZ

The mission of the Communications Security Logistics Activity (CSLA) is to serve as the Army Commodity Manager for Communications Security (COMSEC) material on behalf of the Commanding General, CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC). CSLA directs the operation of the Army's COMSEC Wholesale Logistics System performing all functions of an Army Materiel Command (AMC) COMSEC Wholesale Manager. This includes the operation of the COMSEC National Inventory Control Point (NICP) and the COMSEC National Maintenance Point (NMP).

As the HQDA delegated agent for the Army Key Management System, CSLA operates the Electronic Key Management System Common Tier 1 to execute management of all COMSEC materiel through Army COMSEC Central Office of Record, and to lead modernization of the Army's COMSEC Distribution and Accounting System. CSLA also hosts the automated Army Information Systems Security Program (ISSP) which is used to collect and authenticate COMSEC requirements from Army users worldwide.

CSLA serves as the principle Army COMSEC logistics point of contact for the National Security Agency (NSA). CSLA directs the management of and is responsible for the conduct of the Army-wide COMSEC New Equipment Training (NET) Program. CSLA works closely with HQDA G-2 for development and implementation of Army COMSEC Policy. In addition, CSLA inspects and approves COMSEC facilities and is responsible for auditing all Army COMSEC accounts throughout the world. CSLA also evaluates all reportable COMSEC incidents to determine if an insecurity has occurred, and if so, the extent of damage to national security.

CSLA is an activity of the U.S. Army CECOM Logistics and Readiness Center (CECOM LRC). You may visit their website for more information at http://www.cecom.army.mil/.
