50 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE WARFIGHTER
As Americans, we live in a world that is always changing. Our country is challenged daily by a vast array of global threats. In order to achieve mission success in this unstable world, it’s crucial that our military forces communicate clearly, immediately, and reliably with the information necessary delivered by the best tools and technology that the Department of Defense can provide.
And for 50 years now, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has been doing just that; fully dedicated to solving these complex problems.
DISA celebrated our 50th Anniversary on May 12, 2010. This video provides an overview of how DISA came to be, and explains our mission and vision for the future.
