Your journey toward a great career begins in Officer Training School. It’s a rigorous program designed to challenge you both mentally and physically. You’ll develop the skills you need to lead the men and women of the United States Air Force. When you’re done, you’ll have the confidence you need to do whatever is necessary to fulfill the mission of the United States Air Force.

TYPICAL SCHEDULE
5:20–6:20 a.m. Begin the day with physical conditioning: calisthenics, stretching and running.
6:30–7:15 a.m. Breakfast
7:15–11:00a.m. Hone your skills in drill practice, firing range or parade practice or learn the value of teamwork on the LRC (Leadership Reaction Course).
11:00 a.m.–12:00p.m. Lunch
12:00–5:30 p.m. Broaden your horizons. Classes include writing strategies, principles of war, USAF history: WWII, leadership and management case studies and more.
5:30–6:30 p.m. Dinner
After dinner Prepare for the coming day. Clean your uniform, attend flight meetings or study.
