Tracking the Tropics: Tropical Storm Erin

 Sam Harmon, of Fort Myers, walks towards his plane Saturday morning at the Charlotte County Airport. The plane, a Piper Cherokee 180 (seen in the background with a yellow cover) was blown more than 200 ft from its hangar during Hurricane Charley. Most of the planes stored in the hangar were totally destroyed by the storm and Harmon was amazed and grateful that, for the most part his plane, while damaged, had been spared.
