Air Force weather forces, as part of the Joint team, deliver accurate, relevant, and timely environmental information, products, and services, anywhere in the world. They directly impact decision superiority by enhancing predictive battlespace awareness and enabling commanders at all levels to anticipate and exploit the battlespace environment, from the mud to the sun.

tabAir Force Weather Agency 
Covering the globe, the Air Force Weather Agency is the weather production center of the Air Force. The center delivers worldwide weather products to Air Force and Army warfighters, unified commands, National Programs, and the National Command Authorities.

The Agency supplies weather products, training tools, and fields equipment to Air Force Operational Weather Squadrons and Combat Weather Flights and provides twenty-four hour technical assistance on all standard weather systems and equipment.
tabOperational Weather Squadrons 
Around the world, Operational Weather Squadrons are the second tier of the organizational structure and provide continuous, complete environmental situational awareness. 

Operational Weather Squadrons are responsible for producing and disseminating mission planning and execution weather analyses, forecasts, and briefings for Air Force, Army, Guard, Reserve forces operating around the world.
tabWeather Flights 
In the field and focused on operational weather; the Weather Flights are the third tier of Air Force Weather and the prime interface with an installation's flying and ground operations.  The Weather Flights are located at military installations around the world and are the eyes forward for operational weather squadrons.
tabSpecial Operations Weather 
Close to the ground, Air Force combat weather technicians asigned to Special Operations Forces are expected to know and keep up-to-date on the entire environment in the isolated locations their unit deploys.
tabArmy Weather Organizations 
Army Weather Organizations predict the impact weather will have on Army and joint operations giving leadership at all levels the ability to adjust operational and tactical strategies helping to further mission success.
tabSpace Weather Forecasting 
Looking toward the sun, Air Force Weather is leading the way in space weather forecasting. We provide space weather analyses, forecasts and alert notification for all Department of Defense agencies and government systems.

With observatories in Australia, Italy, Massachusetts, New Mexico and Hawaii, Air Force space weather technicians never let the sun slip from view.
