Public Announcements

Nov 2:

Effective 10:05 AM, 11-02-12, the Minot Police Department is advising No Travel in the City of Minot due to the icy roads and snow.  The Police Department is responding to numerous accidents and the City Street crews are trying to get out and sand the roads.  Do not travel unless it is absolutely necessary.

Oct 30:

Traffic Information

When traffic signals go out, as some have recently during power outages, drivers are reminded to treat the unlit traffic signal as a four-way stop intersection.  This North Dakota state law exists to make intersections as safe as possible when power outages occur.  Drivers are asked to share this important safety message with family, friends and co-workers.

  • 3rd St NE at 11th Ave will be closed for sanitary sewer installation.
