Q: How do I report transportation related data elements for Mail shipments?

A: The following data elements should not be reported when filing Mail shipments. Please leave blank:

    Carrier SCAC/IATA
    Conveyance Name
    Port of Unlading
    Transportation Reference Number

The Port of Export for Mail shipments must read: 8000
