Labor and Delivery Staff

LRMC Labor & Delivery is the only U.S. referral center for high-risk obstetric patients serving DoD beneficiaries and family members throughout Europe, Western Asia and Africa, with an active Storknest program for expectant mothers in remote locations.

The LRMC Labor & Delivery staff understands that birth is a personal, life-changing event and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and making this a memorable experience for you and your family. In the absence of complications, you control every aspect of your birth experience. Our Nurses, Midwives, Obstetricians and Med Techs are there to support you throughout your birth experience.

Our seven private Labor Delivery Recovery (LDR) rooms are equipped with rocking chairs, birthing balls, recliners, showers and state-of-the-art medical equipment. Should you need more specialized care, we have two cesarean birth rooms equipped for cesarean birth or for more challenging vaginal or multiple birth deliveries.

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) provides high-risk obstetrical care and consultations. We offer diagnostic ultrasound, genetic counseling, prenatal diagnosis, management of high-risk pregnancy, multiple births and expectant mothers with diabetes and prematurity prevention.

Best of all, your baby remains with you for your entire hospital stay.
